SHIPPING
Freight is charged in accordance with the following table.
Domestic Shipping Charges
Western Australia – All Orders – $10.00
All other Australian States – All Orders – $20.00
Dawson Wines uses Australia Post delivery service.
Dawson Wines cannot process or ship wine overseas via this website as international freight charges can be very expensive due to government regulations, duties and taxes.
Wines will be shipped within 3 working days from clearance of payment. If you require your wine to arrive before a certain date please allow 3 working days from clearance of payment and at least 7 working days for your order to be delivered. Dawson Wines holds no responsibility for delivery times.
Australia Post is the carrier used within Australia. Please provide instructions for delivery if you are not home as delivery is between normal business hours, in the event that no alternative instructions for delivery is advised the wine will be carded and returned to the nearest Australia Post Office for collection.
Deliveries cannot be made on weekends or public holidays.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
In the event that an order is damaged or partially lost during transit, the customer must, within 14 working days of delivery of the goods, notify Dawson Wines giving reasonable particulars of any such alleged damage or partial loss. The customer acknowledges and agrees that no claim whatsoever shall be accepted by the Dawson Wines (or any of its agents) for any damage to, or partial loss of, the Shipments which occurred during transit where written notice is not provided within this period. On accepting the customers claim, Dawson Wines will at its discretion replace or refund the goods and pay for any additional delivery charges. Whilst your wine will be replaced or fully refunded, Dawson Wines requires damaged goods to be returned within 21 working days so we can take action with the carrier.
The customer understands that it is their responsibility to inform Dawson Wines of any change in address and delivery details. Charges incurred with recovery of wines to an old or incorrect address will be the responsibility of the customer.
If a wine is found to be faulty we will be happy to offer a replacement or refund. Notification must be given to us within 14 working days of delivery.
Please send an email to info@dawsonwines.com.au to notify us of any damages, incorrect orders or faults and arrange for the replacement or return of the product. Once the details or wine is received we will assess the situation or wine fault and refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund including shipping and handling charges.
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. Dawson Wines is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment or storage/cellaring.
